GKE
Warehouse Complex, Singapore

This project is awarded Green Mark GoldPlus in 2010 to Van der Horst
Biodiesel Pte Ltd for its strong commitment towards corporate social
responsibility and environmental sustainability.
Interlink has installed a 100.8kWp solar system at the rooftop of GKE
Warehouse Complex. This solar array is divided into 28 strings of twenty
180Wp modules, feeding into two grid inverters. The grid inverters
convert solar energy to electrical energy and injects into the grid.
Being a grid-tied solar system, it reduces power consumption from the
grid. The installation covers a large area of the roof, thus keeping the
building cool and reducing power consumption via air-conditioning. This system
is a very simple & reliable power system which does not require frequent
maintenance. The routine operation cost of this system is thus
negligible.

The method of using locally-designed mounting brackets to
mount the structure on the roof does not involve any drilling on the
roof, thus avoiding any leakage or rusting on the roof.
The Servicing of the site
On request, Interlink provides
services such as
checks and maintenance for the system, with
minor electrical issues also rectified.
