Solar Street Lighting and Signboard, Singapore

Interlink has installed solar street lighting on the road sides of Singapore to provide power for the sign posts. The solar system consists of 2 modules which will convert solar energy to charge the batteries. Energy is then supplied to lighting of signboard at night controlled by timer. These photos were taken at the site.

The cost to install the solar power system is cheaper than the cost to install the power cable from nearest power point in the street. The relocation of solar signboard will be much cheaper than the cost to relocate the standard signboard because the solar panel can be re-used.

The Servicing of the site

On request, Interlink provides services such as checks and maintenance for the system, with minor electrical issues also rectified.
