Interlink has installed a wind and solar hybrid standalone power system at Semakau Landfill to support the lighting. This system consists of one wind power system and one solar power system. The advantage of this system is to fully utilise the available nature power source at the site. The energy generated will be stored in the battery for supporting the lighting at night.
