Carpark Lighting, Singapore

Interlink has installed solar systems at the roof top of carparks in Singapore.
At one of the carpark, the solar system consists of 5 strings with each string made up of 4
modules of solar panels feeding into the grid inverter.

Inverter:
1.5kW Grid Inverters

At
another carpark, the solar power is a standalone system, consisting of
10 strings with each string made up of 4 modules of solar panels
charging sealed lead acid battery which in turn feeds into the inverter.
The inverter converts solar energy stored in the battery into AC power
to supply to lighting at daytime. The load will use grid power at night.
In instances of power failure at night, the battery will support the
lighting immediately. As such, the system acts as a cost-saving and
reliable standby power system. This system is simple and thus is
practically maintenance-free. These photos were taken during our
installation and a press release
was made.
